While Year 12s are not part of the Expedition Program, many of our students have, by this stage, learned to love the bush.
They often organise their own expeditions so they can spend some time exploring some of our beautiful surroundings.
This year they plan to reconnoitre the Cedar Bay area in preparation for the Year 11 Expedition later in the year in which a number will participate as leaders.
In the past they have also explored the magnificent Herbert River Gorge and upper reaches of the Mitchell River, helping clean the areas of rubbish and feral plants.
